Overview and Analytics
entry and exit
Here, we will look at risk management within the context of African investments but also more broadly how one can create a balance portfolio not just with African securities and financial instruments but with a global markets outlook.
In order to do so, we will study matters like volatility, currency considerations, correlation, hedging and others.
In this section, we will look at two key parts of our methodology which are impact investments and economic value added.
We measure our investment success according to our standards of social transformation and returns well above our cost of capital.
Sector Specific Case Studies
We will study these sectors in greater depth and focus on the key market drivers in each of these sectors and asset classes. We will also learn how to structure a long-term investment strategy. This will be done from three dimensions which are the entry, management and exit.
Within this framework of entry, management and exit, we will also look at taxation and its effects on the investments.
For each, we will be looking at either live projects or recently completed projects.
Energy remains Africa greatest challenge and opportunity. We will consider the energy sector broadly which will include fossil fuels and renewable energy.
FINANCIAL SERVICES and trade finance
Financial Services particularly trade finance remains a very high yielding sector that can also drive positive impact in communities as local exporters are able to access financing to produce and export goods thus creating wealth for them and their communities.

Africa is blessed with abundant natural metals and materials resources from gold to rubber, diamonds and sisal.
However, the ability to capitalize on these remains a problem, we look at different ways investors can partner with local production partners to capitalize on these opportunities.
The ability to manufacture is a prerequisite for economic development. It also offers a great opportunity for investors to participate in very stable and profitable investment opportunities.
